I've had my eyeliner tattoo about 1 year now. I absolutely LOVE it. I did go back to have the colour intensified once. I get compliments all the time. It does fade a wee bit. It hurt like h*** but was so worth it. Did I mention that I love it??

I have been tattooing eyeliner for 17 years and have it myself. The key is to go to someone very experienced. If you tattoo artist has been doing this a long time, this is a good choice. Many without a tattoo background over work the skin thinking they have to grind it in and it becomes painful. None of my clients say it hurts beyond being uncomfortable in the beginning until there is enough anesthetic working. I also use use a closed eye technique for the bottom lash line area - you should not have to watch yourself being worked on. The artist can pull that down to work on it. Don't go for anything extreme. A tiny bit on the bottom is the best with more on the top through the lashes and just beyond. You can always add more when you want to be more made up yourself.

I know quite a few people who have had it done and let me tell you...it is definitely not a good look. It looks too fake and if you don't get it done right then it'll be there for a while. What's wrong with using eyeliner?
You should also know that only trained doctors are supposed to carry out these procedures as they're mainly used for people who have severe allergies to cosmetics.

Yes. it makes my eyes look better when I wake up in the morning, plus I don't have to wear mascara unless i really want to show off my eyes.
