Is it possible for the pool games to be munipulated by others or by games staff?

yesterday, several games in a row when I went to take my first shot in pool, i was bumped out. Today, 2 times in my first 7 or 8 games as I went to sink the 8 ball I was bumped. last week as a new player came in (by the way his name was staff ..) every time it was my shot I could not move the cue stick, his was fine. Too many incidents like this certainly make it look like someone is having a good time at my expense. I come here to relax, I have made some friends. But lately, relaxing isn't happening. Please help me make sense of this.

A hacker could manipulate the game program, but I highly doubt that's happening. You're just going up against some pool sharks. Have ya tried dropping down to a lower skill level????
