Yes, me! A buddy of mine and I went to a Chinese Buffet with all you can eat crab legs in Atlanta off of JC Blvd. at I-85. After two hours the owner of the restaurant came up and said, "That all you can eat?" in a very heavy Asian accent. We thought it was a question and said we could eat more. She looked at us and said, "NO, that ALL you can eat. Time you to go!" She bought us a beer and we left laughing all the way to the car. It was $23.00 each for the food and we figure we each did about 6-7 pounds of legs alone. What a deal!
And for all of the fat jokers out there, though I am as big as a horse, my buddy is only about 5'7" tall and 165 lbs. He kept up with me just fine.

I went to one for the very first time this month.I enjoyed the food it was very good.I never heard of someone being asked to leave but I sure didn't want to leave yet.I was very uncomfortable they had camera's fine but they were watching everyone.Walking by looking at everyones plates. If I'm paying for it what's the deal.I felt like messing with them like getting up walking over there and changing my mind. Then the signs everywhere.IF YOUR TAKING A TRAY HOME AND THE LID CAN'T CLOSE THAT 2 DOLLARS MORE.It would be embarrassing im sure if someone was asked to leave and kinda rude.

Not for those reasons. If they paid, they can eat as much as they want. But I know of a woman who was banned from a buffet because she let her kids take huge plates of food, which they always wasted and/or spilled all over the floor. I don't blame the restaurant for banning her!

I would feel so bad for anyone who got embarrassed like that. But some people do tend to take "buffet" to the extreme.

Yes but not for the reasons you're giving, a family was asked to leave because the kids were touching the food and dropping food on the floor and the parents weren't watching them. :)

Yes! It happened to me twice. Once in college when I was with a large group of friends after a softball game. Once when I was at a barbecue place that had all you can eat chicken. We ate so much, they ran out! LOL
