YES!
God, if you only could see the way some people interview these days. It's quite shocking. Not to mention the grammar on the resumes!!!
Look I told my sister to wear a red collared shirt with her black pin-striped pant suit once, because red makes a statement.
The person doing the interview told her when she walked in the door how impressed she was with the professional look she presented. She got the job!

Yes. I think grey isn't as severe as navy. Maybe try to add a feminine touch with some nice heels, a hint of colour in your top and a piece of eye-catching jewellery, say a long necklace.

Check out What Not to Wear (Trinny and Suzannah on BBC) for more suggestions. Those two know how to turn it out!!!!

Absolutely! Match your suit to your eye color... navy blue will bring out blue eyes and is quite attractive. Gray will turn blue eyes darker. Hold your suit in front of you and look in the mirror to see which makes your eyes stand out more.

I don't know why I know this stuff... I'm not even gay, lol!

It depends on so many things: Country, industry, job that you apply for etc.

You cannot really go wrong with navy or grey, as long as it is not for a job in a very "CREATIVE" environment. It might be seen as unimaginative.

yes you can and I was told in law school that it's better for a woman to wear skirts but I think that's cr*p, I prefer trousers myself and the colour should be black, navy or grey.

Good luck :)
