This audio book doesn't necessarily fit your genre specifications. It isn't horror. And it's only partly adventure. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is a YA novel about a teen girl having a romance of sorts with a guy who gets her in and out of a lot of danger. So there is danger...there is adventure in the sense that are chase scenes and whatnot...but there is also a good bit about normal high school life and romance. But it's one of the best books I've ever read. And the audio book was great. I listened to it a couple of weeks ago.

Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz.

It's sort of a murder mystery BEFORE the murder takes place. Odd Thomas has premonitions but they don't have a lot of detail. It was a good read.
