The hair must be at least 1/8th of an inch to wax . We normally suggest to leave hair grow for two weeks, that is about as long as most shavers can stand. It will take a few waxes to even up the hair growth . After about 3-4 treatments you should get at least 5 times longer from waxing. Happy smooth legs.

I was always told about 1/4 of an inch. My problem is I cannot stand for my hair to get like that so I do not have the pateince to have them waxed.
Make sure you have someone that knows what they are doing, and ask them specifically...how many days growth, should you exfoliate the day of or the day before, what type of lotions should you apply afterwards, etc...Otherwise you will not get a good waxing, and you may end up with red bumps from irritation.

Some say at least an inch but you could try waxing products that work on tiny hairs too. I think it's the Veet waxing strips, where you have to heat them up with your hands, that do that. Or you could try using an epilator..that works in the same way as waxing and there's no waiting time for the strips. Plus, you don't have to worry about stretching your skin.

First take a peice of tape and put it on your leg. Wait about 1minute then pull it off. If you felt your hairs pull then that means you hair is long enough to be waxed. If it doesnt then you should wait a little while longer before you decide to get them waxed

Depends on how long the hairs get. Usually at least 3 mm, which is anything between 3 to 6 weeks.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. When you have hairs that have grown is the best time. It doesn't matter if you have hair to take off then its a good time to wax.
