Same as Andy there.. As far as you let them! Friendships on the internet can become the same as other friendships. They can be with same sex or opposite sex. There are groups online where folks have met as groups in pubs etc. Some of these friendships go on to last.. some even to marriage. I wouldn't knock them. Depends what you mean by "exceeding". Is that more than friends..as in becoming fond of ?? Or exceeding internet and you'd like to meet? Either way I'd say go for it as long as you are safe. Don't be left later thinking.. "what if?" I'm just back from a short holiday with friends I met online .. hubby was with me. I now have friends country wide and we meet as often as we can.

Only let it go as far as you feel comfortable, as warnings online sometimes say, never give out personal information, but if u have known the person and nothing has given you any cause for alarm its up to you...
I met a really nice couple from the net and we have been best friends for years now, so its like any friendship. its all about risks

All the way. I know two couples who met on the Internet, but statistics say that Internet relationships are likely to fail

1. Met him online March. Phone calls started June. Met in RL July. Still friends but no longer lovers, two years on.
2. Met him online January. Met in RL February. Currently with him still.
3. Met her online March. Several International phone calls and 1,000's of emails later she is my best friend.
Others; I love emailing and s*x so like to combine the two whenever possible.

I am a single dad and everybody told me to do internet dating, now then, I am 46 and the only women that responded were older than me, I met up with one of them but it was like being out with my mum. now dating a 21 year old which is a bit strange but didnt meet her on the internet and she is gorgeous. I think I have a mental age of 20 or something but I get on better with younger ladies
To answer your question I guess it all depends on how well you get on. laughter and humour are always the best thing, but at then end of the day its up to you good luck lady
