there is no real evidence of societies as such. but it doesn't mean that it nevr existed. men tended not to notice women in the pass. their desires were of little importance. although there may have been lesbians in almost every culture it was not frowned upon just went un noticed.

BTW the only society of women i ever heard of was the Myth of the Amazons. they disliked men and lived alone only sleeping with men to have babies. killing the male babies and raising the females.

I don't think I could ever be attracted to the same sex,even if I never saw the opposite. I's straight to the BONE. Cultures probably tolerate what people do,but not accept it. Maybe if homos are all by themselves no one would care. I think Denmark or the Netherlands allows gay marriage pretty readily.
