Start your search with the phrase "free computer based training". when you get those results, search within the results for "hardware".
You could also look up free training for CompTIA A+. This certification is a 2 part Cert with one being software and the other being hardware.

I do a lot of searching for things on Wikipedia. I would go to the site and type in the hardware you are interested in. Works for software too. They have a lot of wikis (kind of like an encyclopedia) but it is managed and written by users or ordinary people. They have an extensive section on HTML for example.
