Of course not, you need to try it on first and start practicing walking with it,....
you better try first the shorter ones, and try to get use to them, its not easy to walk with those on, you should have to build your sense of estimating how high are your heels and how high you should lift your feet in stepping your foot to avoid any sprained ankles and bruised knees... :)

practice makes perfect...

but when wearing high-heels make sure you can go with that 4 inch stilettos or you might want to bring an extra slippers with you...

when you arrive home... lay down w/ your legs on the wall... for 15 minutes only...

I can hardly walk with 1 inch heels. I know I'd just fall over in 4" ones. lol

Are you sure you shouldn't try a shorter heel?
