You can use any brand of CD-R for pictures. They are generic. Get whatever is on sale that week.

Just a basic CD-RW if you plan on editing the photos at any future point or adding more photos to the CD. I use the Memorex brand and that works pretty well for me.

If you just want to burn the pictures onto a photo for storage and have no plans to edit them or add more, you could use a CD-R. You only get one chance to use a CD-R, that is why I prefer to use CD-RW's, especially for photos. Hope that helps!

It doesn't matter the type of CD used, the thing that matters, however, is the burner software. The better it is, the better results you get.

You can adjust your software CD burner to burn your pictures just the way you like it.

I would stick with Verbatim. I've had the same disc that I burned 7 years ago and it is still great, But the Sony disc is kind of not working that well anymore. I burned one Sony disc and one Verbatim.

You can use either CD-R or CD-RW; both will work fine. When creating the CD make sure to choose 'data'.
