Dr Feelgood, let me quote for you from another doctor.....
"The Foundation of all Mental Illness is the
Avoidance of Legitimate Suffering" - Dr. Carl Jung

There are a great many people in this society that are mentally ill when it comes to denying the basic needs for citizens and families to survive. It further amazes me that there are 2 quotes in the bible that speak against homosexuality and over 2000 quotes on taking care of the poor. I work with a group of people in my neighborhood that makes food to feed the homeless. This is a group of Christians, Jews, Buddhist and Atheist that are both republican and democrats, liberals and conservatives that I am honored to be associated with that know the value of our responsibility to take care of each other and choose not "avoidance of legitimate suffering".
By now it should be obviously clear that the poster of the question you linked is nothing more than an arrogant fool that prefers to escalate the useless debate of democrats vs. republicans instead of the debate of how we can "together" change the world to benefit all.

The reason is that NEOCONS are a by-product of the over-indulgent 80's. These are individuals who spend the better part of their 80's looking for salvation in the form of whatever drug was available. Now they have "god" on their side.

The Bush Administration, like all good NEOCONS groups, could care less about the plight of the little guy. In the end, it all boils down to the desire to get what you can for yourself and not worry about the guy next door.

The scariest thing about the current administration and the whole NEOCON movement is just how much it resembles Nixon's Administration. The loyalty....the secretiveness....the criminal acts.

And this coming from a Republican!

A lot of Republican fundamentalist Christians pick the parts of the Bible that appeal to them and ignore the ones that don't. That's why they readily latch onto the Bible verses that condemn homosexuality but disregard the ones that deal with helping the poor.

And your contributions to the poor, women, and people of color are? I'm an independent but I have to state that most of the Liberals and extreme right both talk alot and do nothing. Plus conservatives are notoriously harder on crime than democrats. State your case with facts not just party babble, both of you are idiots

First off, where is your facts that Bush ignores poor people, women, and people of color. Has the Liberal party brain washed your weak mind to believe that! Just what in the hell did Clinton do for the poor people, women, and people of color? Wait a minute, we all know what he did with the women.

Again with the BS.....get a new line Doc.....but, for the sake of agreement, who does not ignore these people then? Don't say Dems, they are the ones bi*tching about the money Bush has spent, even though most of it has been spent on the people that have been hurricane victims......those, sir, are the poor, the families, which include women and children....and the people of color.....

Ah the good Dr. is asking the tough questions again, first you have to realize the the repuglican base are the most mentally diminished of the population after all they voted for Bush not once, but twice. The very worst are the ones that still support him. I do not know how they go through life without seeking treatment. Second this guy is probably one of those that still needs help tying his shoes.
