what is the reason behind the function of thinking? why can we think? why do we not live like animals that live basede on instincts? don't answer religously.serious. i want personal opinions.

That is how our bodies function. Suppose if I were sitting and I wanted to get up from my chair. If I didn't think about doing that, I wouldn't have done it. Thinking is also the main human way of solving problems. For example, the only way we could answer a multiplication factor, such as 9 x 9, we would have to think about it first.

the god create the human to build the earth and worship the God and he gave us the ability to think and choosee our way in the life so we think and choos the good or worse way so we punish if we did wrong injustice for others because we think and use our Brain so we have no proof because the god give us the brain and the ability to do what our brains tell us to do
so we have to think because even thinking of the existence and the life and the god is a worship and with out thinking we cant did what we have to did that's worshiping the god and build the earth .

I think because electrical impulses pass through my brain and stir up loads of nonsense.
Thinking is my futile attempt at keeping order within my head.

If I did not I wouldn't have friends, love, and a job. I would just be empty headed and sitting around doing nothing worthwhile.
