Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and it is here to stay. Israel wants recognition from the Muslim world, as it was a sovereign kingdom centuries before Muhammed wore his diapers (unlike the propoganda that Muslims learn that Israel was established in 1948 when Europeans stole the lands from Arabs...WHAT NONESENSE!).

It is time for Muslims to realize that, and begin to work with Israel and ISRAELIS to better the region.

I am sick and tired of hearing that Islam is a "peaceful" religion. Thank Allah Islam is such a "peaceful" religion. Can you imagine if it weren't??!

While not all Muslims are terrorists or support terrorism, the vast majority of terrorists and their supporters are Muslim. Islam is a very oppressive, violent religion, not only on its own people, but certainly on non-Muslims. The good Muslims ought to stand up and condemn Islamic extremists and Islamic terrorism, unequivocally, without any "and," "if," or "but."

Israel wants peace and recognition of its existence. The Muslim extremists, including Syria and Iran regimes want Israel wiped off the face of the earth, and have repeatedly said so. Israel has absolutely no interest in claiming Lebanon, or any other Arab country.

The Muslim world has missed every opportunity to make peace with Israel. When a Muslim country and brave leader did make peace with Israel (the late Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat), he was assassinated by Iranian-backed group.

Unfortunately for the modern world, the Muslims have been conditioned by their dictatorial regimes to have one thought, the same as the regime. There is no spectrum of opinions in the Muslim world, there is no freedom of expression, freedom of thought, freedom to live life freely (exception is in Turkey).

It's time for Muslims to take accountability for their religion and culture. Stop spinning, and address the fact that the Muslim culture is one of the most oppressive and violent cultures, against its own people, and certainly against other cultures.

For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?

It would be to the benefit of Lebanon, Israel, the Middle East, and the World to rid of Hezbollah, Hamas, the Syrian and Iranian regime. It must be done to finally have a chance for peace in the region and the rest of the world.

I support Israel. Its right to defend itself against all attacks. Unfortunately Hezbollah used the Lebanese as pawns, human shields. Some innocents died, but their bombs do not discriminate even against Muslim Israelis.

I think they need to get it done! Take out their enemies and declare victory or 'get out of dodge'. In America, we took out the terrorists in our midst during our infancy without mercy, Israel should do the same.

I honestly think that it all comes down to the individual. Everyone in America right now seems to think that just being from a country we have problems with is enough to condemn them. I think that if you are a good person on the inside, it really doesn't matter where you're from. The only problem that I personally see with Israeliens is that they fight so much over religion, it seems like they don't have time to just enjoy life.
