You're only in high school- you have no need to waste time sticking it out with guys who you aren't really into any more. Besides it'd be much more kind if you were honest with him. Break up with him so that he can get over you and move on and be happy. That way you can be happy too :)

You shouldn't get to close to her because if you are too close of a friend she may not be interested in a relationship besides friendship. Girls want what they "think" they cant have, so the best thing to do is to get a girlfriend of your own, if she wants you she would get jealous, if she dont get jealous then dont waste your time worrying about her, if its meant to be she will come around but dont wait on her cause she may never come around.

So what I'll suggest is just don't meet her for a few days. If she also likes you she'll miss you and if she does, she'll come back to you.
