They are speculating that the guy confessed to the killing of Jon Benet because he got into some trouble in Thailand, and he is just trying to get out of having to serve jail time there. I guess he'd rather do some jail time here. Only problem is he would probably get the death penalty for killing a child here. I'd say he's better off in Thailand.

Hell yeah it's a bunch of BS! I also think that he just wants fame. Do u c the way he glares into the camera for the photographers? From what I understand, the evidence does not coincide with what Karr is saying happened.

Yeah, I think it's bunk! The guy is definately a weirdo. Why in the hell would ANYONE confess to a murder?! He's already been convicted of child pornography but still got a job, overseas mind you, but still a job teaching kids...sick!
I believe he does want fame. Why? who knows?! He's just one sick pervert that deserves to go to prison for hurting those children in the past. He'll get his last word in prison when those men use him as their "boy toy"! He'll be calling for "help" and no one will be coming to his rescue!!!

I have to agree with you....I think so too. He seems like a weird-looking character, but he might just be grossly obsessed with JonBenet and is claiming to have done it for the fame and attention it will bring. I don't know what to think - after 10 yrs., this seems very odd and I'm not sure how they will prove his connection to her killing.

There is more and more coming out that suggests he is not the killer....but as I understand it....He has NEVER said..."I killed her"...he has only said.."I was with her when she died"......I think he is an obsessed freak and child predator.....I also think he is in some sort of trouble over there. and he is looking for asylum in the states.
He has made too many wrong statements...like...I picked her up at school......well it was Christmas...school was on break.
Then he said he spent the night there........but his ex-wife says he was with her that Christmas eve........he is just a little too weird, and with a history of child pornography and jail for crimes against children....he might fit the role....but I dint think he is the killer.

Apparently his ex-wife says he was in alabama with her at the time she died. He seemed like a fame hungry attention seeker to me i just hope it doesnt give false hope to those involved in the case

If you can believe what is being said on the news he wasn't even in Denver on the day of the murder.
