Yes is is, under some rare circumstances. Being honest and maintaining the highest ethics and keeping our integrity is very, very important to us individually and as a society. But, as we gain more life experiences (aka: wisdom) we learn that lying is preferable to the truth under some circumstances. Lying should not be taken lightly, however. Think about it, think about to whom you are lying, and be honest whenever possible.

I guess it depends on the situation. If lying is needed then go for it. If it's just for something unneeded. I hope you remeber that: "The truth will set you free."
