First off..... Congratulation on admitting you are not a good driver!!! If only more of you would step up and say that :-) And then get off the road :-)

Second... live where there is a good transportation system either by bus or train - or live with someone that is a good driver - maybe they will give you a lift where you need to go.

You can live anywhere without a car-no-one "has" to have a car-and if you are not a good driver anyway, perhaps you should stay off the road-am pleased you have the guts to say you're not a good driver, many people "think" they are good drivers, when in actual fact they are not, most peoples driving ability is at best poor,at worst abysmal!

I lived in Chicago and didn't need a car. the bus and subway got me to very close to home and work. Also close to downtown and museums. Minneapolis has a good transportation system. I bought a bike while there as they have one of the best bicycle systems in the US. I lived in the suburbs there and found it just as fast by bike as by car. Also I did not need to worry about parking, which can get very expensive. There are a lot of nice towns in Oregon also, you save a bunch each year by not needing to pay a sales tax.

In a city with public transportation. I did it for years. It works. Get some city, bus and train maps too.

Theoretically anywhere, but it might not be very pleasant. I would suggest a first world country, with good safety and security and well developed transport system, in a city.
