My fella is really into Metallica and there is a certain website that is offereing 2 t-shirts for £20.. im just really unsure what to go for though.. any ideas on what I should go for? what are most popular amoungst fans?

Master of Puppets is a common one, if he's a serious metallica fan, a couple of the less recognizable t-shirts would probably be well appreciated, maybe Kill 'em all, And Justice for all... or Ride the Lightning... Personally I would recommend not buying the t-shirt and either seeing them Live or getting the "Live sh**, Binge and Purge" boxset (altho' this is more expensive!)

Aaarrggghhh! You reminde me of myself some 15 years ago!!! When I was a young teenager and my first boyfriend's birthday came along I was in similar dilemma: which Metallica T-shirt to buy for him. Well, I was into all that too, and in those days there were less choices than now. I chose the Master of Puppets one because of the image. It is so eye catching (maybe in a negative way?) that you couldn't help but notice it. Then there was the justice for all and I just didn't like the images on that. I had a 'Ride the Lighting' one becuase of the nice blue colour. You see, even when I was a young heavy metal chick, looking good was very important to me...

Personally, I think Ride the Lightning had a cool cover. Everyone thinks Master of Puppets had the best imagery so go for something different.

My personal favorites are the "Metal Up Your A s s" T Shirt and the Master of Puppets T shirts.

maybe buy some CD's instead of the t-shirts???
Better still - save up for a ticket to see them live.

master or puppets is the most common, and most respected, if i were 2 buy one, i would get the master of puppets one, anyone who has remotely heard of metallica, will notice it, and realise, definately the best choice

that sounds like a good offer. My nephew paid £12 for one. I'm sure that your fella will be pleased with whichever ones you choose.

i really like the Whisky in the far one thats just come out bcos it sort of looks like a Jack Daniels label ....
