That "everyone" part... I don't think "everyone" is wondering whether any of the players are gay. The truth is, their sexual orientation doesn't make much difference in an actual game. After the game, most likely. But not when he's at the net.
Also, Alena Seredova is his fiancee, and she really does look like a female! I haven't heard of or seen any confirmed reports about Buffon being homosexual, either. If he is gay, the fact is that he is still the same person he was before.
Lady_Starlight: Whether or not Buffon is homosexual, I suppose that doesn't affect his actual performance? I know, he *might* not be the best goalkeeper ever (it's too difficult to decide, anyway), but it has no relation to sexual orientation.

I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE SAYING THAT GUY IS THE BEST GOALKEEPER!
He can't even save penalties! I hated how Buffon was celebrating after Trezeguet missed, like he had stopped the ball when he had done nothing to save it. He didn't even come close, he fell the wrong way without even making an attempt to catch it! It would have gone in had it not hit the post, but Buffon thought he was superman for "saving" it. He needs to get over himself, he isn't great at all! When Barthez won the Lev Yashin award in 1998, he proved he was good because he did an amazing job in that penalty shootout against (I'm sure we all remember). Are people at this World Cup blind? Can't they see that Jens Lehmann is the best goalkeeper? What the hell does a man have to do to prove he is the best goalkeeper, why don't they go back and see how many corner kicks and freekicks he caught, why don't they go back and see how good his positioning is and his reflex skills, why don't they see that he is the king of penalties, since they missed seeing it the first time? I don't care if Buffon only let in one goal in regulation or whatever, that was only because the defense didn't let it go near him most of the time! So what if he saved Zidane's header? I've seen much more incredible saves from Jens Lehmann and Ricardo, and Oliver Kahn. I hate it how Buffon gets so much credit when he's just not that good...Jens Lehmann is the best, the glory belongs to him, not a buffoon! And one more thing, did you see how Buffon made out with some reserve player after Italy beat Germany, and how another player sat in his lap after they beat France? I can show you the pictures if you want, Touzours, I know exactly what you mean! And Zidane rocks! But stupid morons keep rating my answer down because I say these things...

he didnt save any penalty
the ball goes in a side and he in another side
on the otherhand ricardo saved 3 penalties and te one he didnt save he went for it but the ball was faster
