I think the knock sensor is usually located close to the intake back by the bell housing. The EGR valve is located on the intake and kinda looks like a flying saucer. Good luck.

most minivans that i have worked on the knock sensor is located around the bottom edge of the block between the freeze plugs and the oil pan, it could be on the right side of the block, or in a merc. the firewall side. it should have one small bolt holding it next to the block and 1 or 2 wires coming from the plug.If you do not have drivability issues with the van and are not comfortable with working on it, take it to a shop and have them show you where the stuff is, usually they wont charge you for information.

Ask a mechanic.

Usually these type sensors are located under the hood and they usually are very expensive.

Good luck.

i can not say for optimistic, yet a very good form of the time this is going to be on the element of the engine dealing with the firewall. the sole useful thank you to get to maximum of those is from below the vehicle and via snaking your arm up during the rack-and-pinion to get to it.

Go to autozone.com, they usually have manuals online to locate parts for replacement and it's free.
