You shouldn't be using body creme on your face. You need to use something that says for face on the bottle. CVS has plenty to pick from. Just make sure it says for the face.

don't use an acne wash- it will dry your skin out so much that you will have peeling skin, plus your skin will produce more oil to heal the dry skin, which creates even more pimples!
try Purpose face wash ($6 @ Target).
also, go to the Estee Lauder counter and ask for the Clear Difference Lotion- this will set you back some (depending on what size bottle you get) but a small bottle lasts at least a year. It's one of the best things I've ever used on my face. Also, they've got a new face lotion for acne prone skin- i've got a sample of it- it's called Idealist, and i really like it too.
if you have REALLY bad acne, you might want to go ask a dermatologist about anti-bacterial oral medications. Last resort- ask him to put you on Accutane.

My daughter and I have that problem. She uses only white Dove soap on her face. It works great. I also used Neutrogena soap for sensitive skin. It did fine. We sometimes cleanse our faces with Witch Hazel, too, if we're not too dirty or sweaty--just wet a cotton ball and gently swipe over face.
We only have two creams that work on us. I use a huge cocoa butter lotion found on the bottom shelf in Wal-Mart on the cream and lotion aisle. It's a couple of dollars for a lot of lotion, but I don't remember the name. We use that on our bodies.
For our faces, we use Eucerin cream--in the white jar, not the tube. It works great at night as a night cream when our faces feel like they're getting icky. I also gently rub it into my hands until it disappears and then gently swipe my face with my hands for daytime wear. It doesn't show, but feels better when I do that.
