I can be both! To lead you need to be responsible for decisions that would affect your life as well as those who follow you. It is no easy task and many times tough decisions must be made. Often leaders must attempt to predict the future and make decisions which will have long lasting consequences, that is a lot to worry about.

To follow is much easier as all you need to do or worry about is what the leader will instruct you to do, though this may seem a poor position to be in it does have its advantages too. Being a follower allows you the luxury of not worring about making these tough decisions and allows you to focus on the task at hand.

I think I'm a mixture of both a leader and someone who's comfortable being led because there are some areas that I don't know much about and there are other areas where I'm good at. I think a major point about being a leader is being able to accept the view points of others.

I believe a true leader is one who can get his or her subordinates to cooperate without using higher bosses as a clutch. Also, a leader should be comfortable making tough decisions on their own.

I would rather lead than be led. But in order to lead, one must be able to follow. Being in the military, I have to be comfortable with both situations. It's tough!!

I think of myself as a Beta male with Alpha male quality's, if there isn't anyone better qualified to the than me to lead, I'll do it and not half *** either but a damn good job just to boot, it's just that i don't live for the stress of being a leader but if it falls to me to be a leader then step back and make way because once i make my mind up about something it'll take hell or high water to get me to back down, but that might just be my pig headed way of doing things..

Yes.I am a leader at my place of work;of two different groups at church, and Iam the head of a large family. I believe I have what it takes to be a leader because :
1. I am good at listening to other people,
2. I make decisions indepently after of course analysing advice etc,
3. I am a genuine Christian and believe the Holy Spirit is the best counsellor/adviser.

I hate to lead as I'm more of an introvert. I usually end up leading though because nobody else will step up to the plate. I don't like being in the spotlight, but at the same time, I'm not afraid to shoulder responsibility when I need to.

I have always been a leader and a trend setter. It seems to come naturally to me. I make decisions and am not a straight line thinker.I think flexibility is an important quality!

I'm a leader. Intelligent, strong-willed, self-confident, willing to make the tough decision when no one else will, quick thinker, analytical, even-tempered, balanced, ability to see the big picture, mediator, persuasive, well-educated, street smart, ethical, excellent oral & written communication skills, old enough & smart enough to know that there are many ways to get a result (so it's not "my way or the highway").......

I prefer to lead. I like to know where I am going and I have a hard time not being in control. I wouldn't say I'm a control freak, but it's like drinking... if you're not careful, you can go too far, lol.

I'd have to say I think I have good skills leadership because:
I'm smart enough to know what I know, but also smart enough to know what I don't know.
I lead by example.
I have high moral and ethical standards, though I'm not perfect.
I know my strengths and weaknesses and am not afraid to admit them to myself.
I communicate my ideas effectively.

Oh, I forgot a biggie: I LISTEN!
