Have you had as hot a summer as we've had here in Texas?

Why? Just because of the crisp sweater weather air, apple-picking, cider-drinking, hot chocolate sipping, hay rides, leaves changing their colors like reds, pinks, yellows, or is it the pumpkins and corn stalks everywhere?

ok, you convinced me, yes, I'm looking forward to Autumn as much as you- and I like how you called it "Autumn" instead of "fall". Autumn means colorful, and fall just means the leaves are falling, and winter is coming. I do wish sometimes that October was for forever......

Autumn is a nice time of the year, but I will miss the hot, summer days. It's been hot in Kentucky, too. The last time I was in Texas, it was freezing! I thought it was hot all the time there. Enjoy your Autumn!

Yes, my summer has been hot here in Iowa. At least hotter then any other summer. Yes, Yes I love Autumn. I love all my seasons because they have special characteristics depending on what season it is. I really love sharing the enjoyment of looking at the beautiful leaves with my children. They not only love Autumn but when they fall we have a wonderful time raking them up and jumping in them. Autumn is so beautiful that I even get out my camera and take pictures. It is amazing how each tree can be totally different and with different colors.

Yes. I'm looking forward to a change. I'm tired of this hot weather. It wasn't as hot as last year here in Toronto but still to hot for my liking. Let's get on with Autumn and all it's beauty and then Winter, my favorite season.

I see trees changing color already and birds (geese and black birds) flocking in the filed next to my place. The bees are getting aggressive and I think...wow, it is only August. Living in the North East (Wisconsin) you get to appreciate all of the seasons (except that winter is longer than the others) and being a native of the south makes that a bit tough to handle. So, why I like the arrival of Autumn (it is my favorite time fo the year), I wish it would hold off on showing up until mid-September.

Ya I am, partly. During our summer's there is a lot of humidity so it seems the heat is doubled. Not to mention we have harsh winters so putting it off would be nice. I live on a farm so I'm not looking forward to all the mud that'll be tracked in but I love the autumn colors and crisp air.

Yes, we've had an extremely hot summer here in Alabama. I'm more than ready for it to cool down a bit. And Fall is my favorite season.
