The two police officers, William Jimeno and John McLoughlin (II) were buried 20 feet under the rubble of the twin towers. When exactly were they (in real life) pronounced missing and when were they found? Because I went into my September 11th Morning Call Newspaper collection, and I didn't see anything in there pertaining two police officers missing or when they were found.

I don't know the exact details for sure, but everyone agrees the place was amuk there were communications problems and procedures were never designed for this type of disaster.

Today policy dictates that Fire and Police carry name badges in New York and leave them outside so that if something happens rescue workers know exactly WHO is inside and how many of them there are. They picks these badges up after the leave the scene.

probably in the newspapers a couple of days later--its not like though that it is a made up story
