I was just wondering do you think its a good idea for women to be auto body technicians working on collision and paint repair. Do you think it is to hard for a women to do this job because of so many men that do it?

If you're proficient at doing the work, there shouldn't be any trouble. Women are equally talented and are judged on their skills and work ethic.

Don't know why it would be a bad idea...just because it's not a so-called traditional career choice for a woman doesn't mean it should be a bad idea. Besides...as a woman, sometimes when getting anything done to my car, it's a little less intimidating dealing with a woman as opposed to a man.

No a woman can do it. I hope you like to be hot dusty and dirty all the time. Not to mention all the paint thinners and other chemicals you will get in your system.

If she doesn't mind putting up with remarks and harassment from the low-life men she works with, it is a great way to make a living.
