i believe money should not determine happiness, but lets be real this is a mans world and everything has a price on it. So i would say to happy you would definitly need enough money to pay your bills with no problem, and support your children. How much that is gonna cost? cant really put a price on it. I am at my happiest when all my bills are paid, and i feel finacially secure and thier aint nothing more happier than knowing "you owe no one".

With the way our President is running the country... In order for me to be truly happy I'd need. $ 235,988,391.84.

Enough so that if the world turned on the President, me and a few friends could hop into a Boeing 777 and go to a less than hostile country, like Sweden or Switzerland. Do they they use the euro there?

Friend,Money can never measure one's happiness! Its the number of good friends and loved ones u have around will make you happy. Money is needed to satisfy one's basic needs only!

I don't need any money to be happy. Happiness comes from our hearts, not from any money. As long as I stay with my friends and my family I will be happy.

There is no answer to that. Because once you get said amount, that person will desire "$5 more, *then* I'll be happy".

I would be equally happy if all I had was my loved ones, and the clothes on my back... or if I had my loved ones and a billion dollars.

It seems we always spend what we have but in my case I'm sure that finding happiness is more a matter of tuning into the area between my ears rather than my pocket book.
