I am currently looking for something to occupy some free time with, and prefer the old RPG lineup for the PSX. I'm just looking for ideas for what I should find and play next.

I will add a little more clarity. I am currently in Japan attending a school. The problem is I am in a town in the middle of nowhere. Needless to say, aside from studying and talking with the locals, I have alot of free time. The reason I say besides the FF series, is that I have played them all.

Chrono Cross is still one of the best game I've ever played. Great gameplay, great plot and great music (Everyone I recommended this game to, got hooked, MAJORLY). The Mana series is also quite interesting, they are quite varied in gameplay and not linear. The Suikoden series and Xenogears are also a few of the best RPGs out there in the PSX range.

I really like the Champions of Norrath, it's sequel Champions: Return to Arms (you can load your character from the first to the second), and Kingdom Hearts 1+2.

try the legacy of Kain, that's fun. there's also sukodin 2, legend of the dragoon, legend of legia, Chrono Cross, the Mana series, and, well, final fantasy games
