Why do women have babies knowing that they cannot take care of it and expect the system to get them by?

Why do women get on public assistance knowing before they became fu**king pregnant that they were unemployed and couldn’t take care of a baby? We hard working people can’t even get a damn loan to help us during hard times but irresponsible women can get health benefits, WIC, food stamps, and other government funded incentives. It makes me sick. Don’t get me started on these illegal’s sucking up tax payer’s money. I couldn’t even get enough financial aid to go to school because I had no fuc**ing dependents (babies) and therefore they considered me as a dependent student. I had to borrow money but if I had 4 or 5 kids that I couldn’t take care of, government grants and loans would have been flowing out sh*ts creek. My mother couldn’t even get help for two months when she decided to take in a little girl that was practically left on her door step. They said she made too much and didn’t have a need. She couldn’t even put the baby on her fu**ing HEALTH insurance right away.

My mother and I make a decent salary (homeland security) but people and the so called screwed system don’t realize that they tax the hell out of us, my mother has two boys in college, she has a mortgage and she is a single parent. Why can’t people like us (working class people) get help every once in a while? Why do we have to be stupid irresponsible whores to receive money to get us by? What is the reward for doing the right thing in life? I didn’t do drugs, I didn’t get pregnant, didn’t go to jail and so on. What the f**k do I get? And what is the reward for the women who make rash, uneducated, irresponsible decisions to get pregnant knowing that they can’t take care of it and have more after that? What is the reward for illegally coming to the US not knowing a bit of English and having a baby? Now I know I will get some people that will disagree with this but I really don’t give a damn. They are probably the ones on the system anyway or have been on it.

Note: not all women on welfare are stupid irresponsible whores. Just the majority. There are some that really need it and are actively trying to find a job to better themselves.

some elderly people can't even get assistance to help with their medication but we can fund trash who can't keep their legs shut?

i agree, women would go to any lengths to concieve a baby and CAN take care of it but teenagers and irresponsible women pop them out like chickens and take for granted the blessing that they have. The government needs to be more firm with these women and the benefits that they recieve. again, some women need welfare. they could have lost their job or anything. i am not talking about those women. only the ones who take advantage of the system and keep having baby after baby.

mocha- please read before you begin to post comments on here that are irrelevant. my debate is with the abusers. not people who need the help. i clearly stated this. we as US citizens have to pay taxes as a due. This is not what i am talking about and i am not judging anyone. i am clearly stating what i see and know for a fact. I work for the federal government and i deal with people's sensitive info such as SSN, insurance, income, dependants so i know what i am talking about when i say that some women refuse to get up off thier lazy a** and get a job. these abusers leak the system and make it hard for everyone else who may need the help. you sound like you are or once was on public assistance. you sound defensive and posted a comment that was highly irrelevant to my post. what are you defensive about?

There are girls (personally met them as young as 13) who plan these "accidental" pregnancies for the attention they get. They don't think about how they are going to care for a baby, or if they would make a fit mother...they just want one. I think there should be an age limit for a woman to keep a child...you have to be 18 to smoke, go to college, or even drive in some states...but you can raise a baby at 15.
A lot more of it is "role model" issues...a lot of the young women having babies now are having them because everyone else is, or because their parents did, or because they know their parents won't kick their butts for coming home pregnant. They don't realize and don't care how much of a burden one child on WIC or welfare is to taxpayers.
As much as I tried to help some of the younger ones, all their lives they've grown up with unemployed parents...they know as young as 5 or 6 that food came from food stamps and WIC, and that they had to wait for the disability check (for mental instability...what a crock) before they could get their school supplies. When they get older...that's how they think they're supposed to live. Don't want a job, can't keep one...don't care...they've been supported all their lives, and they've grown comfortable with that. If we pull most of the support options or make them harder to qualify for, it may take a few years, but i think the dependency issue will resolve itself when people learn that they can't say they're "manic depressive" and live off of disability, and maybe they'll get medicated and get a job if that's they're only option. And if we say, you can't take care of a baby, you can't have one...instead of supporting them...women won't have as many

You sound very bitter!!!! Okay their are many things that your taxes are contributed to.........What about the High Class people in any local government taking your taxes by raising sell taxes. How about screaming at the President for the gas prices. You have many women and children out here that really need this help. You can't come here and blast women and children and then come back and say some may need it. Come on.....You are not the judge here and I'm for sure you don't know all women in the system. If you really want to make a difference let your voice be know in your local government. You are just a bit upset right now because you couldn't get the type of assistant you needed for school.

I work for the government and I know for a fact that they take more from you than women and children on public assistant. That will be there for them no matter what. So stop complaining about it.

THEY HAVE A PROGRAM OUT RIGHT NOW AS WE TYPE. THAT GIVES ALL ELDERLY PEOPLE FREE MEDICATION. I KNOW FOR A FACT MY GRANDMOTHER HAS IT. SHE'S 90 YEARS OLD.

As long as the system is permissive and hands out benefits, there will always be people who realize that using the system beats trying to make an honest living by their own labor.

i don't know but it pisses me off because there are decent, wonderful women out there who could be great moms and can't get pregnant and then there are so many lazy, cheap women out there who get pregnant for the wrong reasons and don't deserve it.
