Will genetic engineering one day, have the power to mutate humans into Super-mutants? childish...but possible. What do you think?

The scope for genetic modification of adults is limited since many genes do their work before birth. So when you're born with inferior genes it's too late to do anything about it, short of plastic surgery or implants.

I think it will be possible for people who carry genetic diseases to have their egg and sperm repaired so they can produce healthy babies. The technology is already available for animals, just needs to be made more reliable to be used on humans.

Their are some diseases that are so widespread that they are considered normal: anti-social behavior during puberty, skin infections during puberty, disposition towards alcohol addiction etc. I think it will be possible to create babies that are free of those traits.

of course friend..it will.....i m waitin for that day.....if it comes in my lifetime.......it will be tremendous .......i will mutate into wolverine or spiderman..........awesome man
