Sorry, according to the Today show, the girl was 12. Also, he drove "across the state line" in order to get married. So what state allows twelve or thirteen year olds to marry?

I think the main problem the guy had major issues and that should of been the first clue. Why in the hell did the girls family allow her to marry a man. And where was his family at? And the south has some nutty traditions. It's a completely different world down in those hills.
