Is it correct to surmise there is more behind this question that the literal words? I never lost my ring but I often removed it when working around electricity as a precaution. It is probable that my wife would say, "Really?" and we'd see about getting a replacement. She's special though. (Make that "SPECIAL")

I doubt he meant to lose the hoop. He in all probability purely did no longer comprehend it does not survive whilst he became into in the water. consistent with probability you will desire to convey regret and the two certainly one of you will desire to communicate why it mattered lots and what you will desire to do approximately it now. I comprehend the symbolism of the hoop, yet whilst he did no longer lose it intentionally (and if he loves you i'm specific it wasn't intentional) then you rather would desire to attend to the subject before it festers right into a relationship ending monster wound.

My ex husband put it in his pocket when he went swimming and it fell out. Then when I bought him a new one, he got mad it wasn't as exspensive as the first. Now you know why he's my ex.
