Is "bundling" services the way to go?

Anything but AOL and Yahoo. Useless and atrocious customer service (all offshored to Rajiv in Bangalore).

Don't bundle - they usually combine 1 decent product with a bunch of mediocre (or even crappy) ones. Better to cherry-pick and get the best of everything.

Roadrunner and Yahoo both have different speeds that they can offer you and both are good services, but Roadrunner is cable and that's still better than Yahoo DSL even though DSL is better than it was a few years ago. Yahoo might cost less. AOL highspeed is an "enhanced" Roadrunner but is slower because it has poorly programmed software running over the top of your connection that slows you down and uses up your system resources.

Bundling all depends on what you're being offered. Consider carefully the reliability of cable telephone, however, as cable goes out of service a lot more than a regular phone line does.
