As a parent, no matter what awkward growth spurts, body changes, skin problems, we never see our children as ugly. To answer your question based on life experience, the ugly ducklings can and have turned into swans. Myself and son are examples of what you are asking. Maybe not what you yourself might consider good looking, but certainly by our 20's we had grown out of that awkward stage from the teen years.

Most teens are hard on themselves and think they are ugly due to peer pressure. Teach him to live life being good to others and enjoy growing up being a good person and I know he will turn out just fine.

By genetics it is already predetermined if you will be attractive. The question is what is your definition of attractive? Are you going by Hollywood's standards or an everyday standard. We have all heard: beauty is only skin deep.........beauty is in the eye of the beholder..........But beauty is defined by you. Your self-worth and esteem is all on you. If everyone was walking around looking the same well, then it wouldn't be a variety now would it?
