My brother just came back from visiting Europe and returned with a game from Norway called Kubb. He said that people were playing it in many parks that he visited. In this game there are wooden blocks set up on each end of te field and the object is essentially to toss wooden dowels at the blocks to knock them over. It is kind of like bowling, bocce, and horseshoes wrapped up in one game.
