I would go a week without a car and just take the bus. I could not live without air conditioning especially after this summer.

no air even in the middle of summer. Things are to spread out in my city and the bus system is not as direct as in other places. On the bus it takes two hours for me to get to work but in a car i can be there in 20 min. Big difference huh? If i was still living in Atlanta i would say air.

A week with no air conditioning because you could just open up the windows and turn on some fans.

I'm too old and fat to be without my air conditioning- especially when it gets to be 110 around here. The other day the high was 88 and they said it was "Fall-like" weather. I live in the wrong place!

I live in the bay area CA. It never gets over 80 and I know the Muni by heart. I could live without either. If I had to choose I would say without AC. It kind of sucks to go out for a date and when the girl wants to come back to have to wait for a bus.

Difficult choice! I guess I'd forgo air conditioning. I suppose I can drive to the library, mall, arcade, (all air conditioned) or the coast when it hits 100F. Plus, I'm not riding my bike (with 4 year old in tow) in that heat. We'd probably get heat stroke.

No car, it would give me a better appreciation of what I have. I'd get the excersise I need. And it would give me a reality check as to how far the USD goes now a days (paying for taxi or bus, and actually looking at the current gas $)
