I am 61, and I can tell you that I can tell the difference as each year goes by,. I am still young at heart and enjoy a lot of physical activities, I can still play hard and work when I have to.
I have a friend that looks at life this way. He says once you hit fifty, that it's just another pill each year and down hill all the way. LOL. Well it ain't that bad.
If I had to pick a year I would say 85 and 90. Opps better not, I just heard this week of a couple in their 90's going to town and buying a new boat motor. It was several thousand dollars. One would count out a hundred in cash and the other would count out their hunderd. None of the bills wer over 20.00 dollars.

I am 65 and i just returned from a trip to Mt. Everest after traveling through both Inner and Outer Mongolia and I plan a photographic trip to Yunnan Province to film wildlife, and besides I have so many other things cooking....I guess you will get old when you lose interest in life....I don't plan to. Got bitten by a damned camel, thrown off of a damned horse, and scratched by a panda...and you know what...they were painful and yet they didn't hurt a bit. I will be scuba diving off Hai Nan Island tomorrow...why don't you join me? There a volcano I need to explore there and if there are no typhoons about, I want to go to the western end of the Great Wall again...if there is a typhoon, then I want to be here.

it depends on the people..
you dont have to be worried bout being "old" but about being "wiser"
if u have "old" age it doesnt mean that you are "wiser" than people who are younger than you...
and bout wearing beige trousers and a flat cap...
u can wearing it anytime you want as long as u feel comfortable and it suits you.. no matter what your age is
if u feel good bout it than anyone who looks at u will feel the same
eventhough u're wearing a nice expensive clothes but u feel it doesnt suit u then everyone will see how not comfortable u with it,
and dont forget...
be confident!
that's gunna be extra point on how you look..

You can start wearing them now if you want - go ahead.....start a trend. LOL
The funny thing is, I thought "old" was long before my age now (48). I look and feel better than I did in my 30s. Don't worry.....it gets better before it gets worse!!!! Truth is, the older you get, the younger everyone else is (including yourself) -- that is just the way it is. You hit an age and start thinking "omg, what was I thinking - this isn't bad at all." But you may wear anything you want anytime you want.

Only you can decide that. And who says ya have to wear trousers and a flap cap. I believe if your lucky enough to make it to an old age it should be 60.

First of all, when the youth of today are no longer the people you hang out with, but are a group of people you complain about, then you are heading rapidly for middle age, but are not yet old. you are old when you look back at being middle aged and wish you'd spent more of that time having fun, instead of complaining about the youth of today!

When you feel old
it's up to you,
If you are a stuffed shirt, you're old
If you can ride a bike, go on the roller coaster, your are still young at heart. On the outside you may appear old, but on the inside I still feel like I'm 25, but I'm much older, but wiser

I asked my mum (who turns 70 in December). She says after you're 30, "old people" are the ones that are 10-15 years or more ahead of you. She doesn't think of herself as old but calls her 79 yo neighbour "the old man next door".

I think women are old at 37. so above 37 they are old. 36 sounds like you're still young....but 37 just sounds old.
men get old at 45. so above 45 they are allowed to wear beige trousers and a golfing hat.
