You can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.
You can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil> toolbar options> uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history> ok.
To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok.

For clearing History on internet explorer: On the toolbar of internet explorer press "tools." Then on the new screen that pops up press "Clear History." Your history is now cleared. =)
For clearing history in the google toolbar: Click the icon that says "Google" on your google toolbar. Then click clear search history. Then your done.
For clearing history in the yahoo toolbar: Press the little pencil on your yahoo toolbar. then click clear search history and your done.

1. Click Start followed by Control Panel.
2. Double-click Internet Options.
3. In the Internet Properties window, select the Content tab.
4. Under Personal Information, click AutoComplete...
5. Under Use AutoComplete for, uncheck Forms.
6. Under Clear AutoComplete history, click Clear Forms and OK at the dialog box that pops up.
7. Click OK and OK again, and you are done!

For yahoo toolbars, click on the "down" arrow on the left of the search box. (beside the pencil icon)

1. If Internet Explore; Click on the Tools menu
Click 'Internet Option' and then located the History clip (at the
bottom)
there u can edit the number of days history are to be kept or clear it at all...I hope this help!

You probably searched something "dirty". Otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question. All you have to do is delete the cookie file. Just go to "Internet Options" and click delete files. It's not that hard. Good luck!
