In the end of our eyelashes, there's a tiny "pond" of fat. A small parasite lives in there, the demodex. I think that's quite gross.

Well, I like you have heard this, but I'm afraid it a bit of a myth! There is a story about humans eating eight spiders a year in our sleep without knowing it and that it was supposedly tested by filming people in their sleep for a year. It is hard to believe that a group of people in different sleeping situations would have been filmed for a year or more to validate this statement. It is possible for a spider to walk into your mouth and trigger the swallowing mechanism at the back of the throat and this could in fact occur on a rare occasion. It may even be true that there are a few people out there who have unknowingly eaten eight spiders in the last twelve months. This still would not make such a generalisation be considered as true. I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep worrying about spiders while you sleep!!

that may be true but that fact is deceiving... if you're taking averages, you have to take in account that most do not eat any spiders in their sleep (ever) while at the same time, there are people that may eat 50 (more or less) in their sleep...

they're extrapolating an rather small experimental team at something else of the inhabitants. The scarier idea might want to be that a set of scientists is gazing each individual of their sleep.

In some countries it is much more than 12 to 15 spiders.
In the Amazon, in some places, a guy must wear something like a condom and girls something like a plug to keep little water creatures, simlar to an eel from going up their Urniary cannal when they go swimming etc.

Ear wax comes in two different varieties wet and dry. The type of wax that you have is determined by your heritage. Most white, black, and Hispanic people have wet wax which is oily, sticky, and tan color. Most Asian and Native American people have dry wax which is sticky, brittle, and gray.
