You said that you used to do that. This would imply you have already figured out how to modify your behavior.
But the bottom line, if you are still prone to outbursts of this kind, is to carefully analyze the likely outcome. More than likely you will be reported where you will face some kind of unpleasant punishment, whether it be extra work, detention, in school suspension, paddling, whatever your school likes to do. The person you attacked will get the last laugh knowing that you ended up in trouble.
As you get older such outbursts will lead to you getting fired from you job, and ultimately if you keep up these outbursts they will lead to jail. If you can visualize the pathway that you are on, realize that violent behavior such as this will eventually lead to you being in jail. There you will be with the losers of society and get beaten up by them. All those people you thought you could teach a lesson with your attacks will be laughing their *** off knowing that you are in jail being treated like crap.
It's a simplistic answer, because violent outbursts tend to have an underlying reason such as domestic abuse, divorce or issues at home. Therapy is likely the best answer to really address these issues. However until you can get some therapy, just visualize yourself in jail the next time you are about to get mad, and ask yourself if it is really worth it just to teach someone a lesson.
In the big scheme of things these little idiots that annoy you in school are not going to be a part of your life. In a few years these people will be a distant memory as you head off into the real world of careers and college. Just accept that you have to learn to deal with the idiots, because there will always be idiots that annoy you in life. Don't give them the satisfaction of getting under your skin. Good luck.

yoga and mediation are excellent ways to improve your characterl. Does not cost much, get books or dvd from library and look for free classes in meditaion - try the BRAHMA KUMARIS website they offer free meditation lessons and have centres in lots of different towns. Also try deep breathing exercises when you feel a temper or anger mood coming on

If you are over 7years old, then just realize that that kind of behaviour is typical of a 6 year old and that you are more mature than that.
Pay attention in class, learn proper grammar, and come up with your own verbal cut downs.
