You can get windeze or something like that from the chemist, never tried so don't know if they work.
my son is constantly smelling the house out, so he lights a match, yeah it really works to get rid of the smell, works in the loo too.

I don`t know any medicine, but she must think about what she eats and how she eats it, maybe she is swallowing to much air, or eating cabbage and beans and so on that creates a lot of air in her stomach. And most important of all she has got to train her pelvic floor so she can keep her winds from coming out until she reaches the toilet.

Perhaps she should empty more regularly. Eating more slowly and eating less fibre. Also consideration needs to be given to the fact that this person may want to send her kids away. Is there a time when this doesn't happen? when, why, what is different?

It sounds like a digestion problem, maybe a chat with a pharmacist would be helpful, as they could advise on an 'over the counter' remedy.

Charcoal biscuits or burnt toast.
A visit to the doctor would be her best bet though.
