why does our D-link keep going off ?

we are having trouble getting our D-LINK re-router to work, now are phones have gone funny, our phone line is ok , any suggestions please ?

There are 2 reason that could happen.

1-IF it's DSL some routers have a check mark "keep connection alive" (log in by type iexplorer 192.168.0.1 or192.168.1.1 user name and pass. look up manual)
2-Make sure there is a filter in every phone if not everytime you get a phone call can disconnect you DSL service and reconnect.
the max filters are 6 if you have more than that you will have to contact your service provider to install a filter outside for the hole system.

If thats the case then re-install it again or check the D-link inside CPU.
