NO! Having a family is the best thing in the world! Having people you can always rely on is very comforting. Children are the greatest gift. If you want your relationship to work it does take a lot of effort but every relationship does. You can't find a relationship anywhere (parent/child, lover/lover, sibling/sibling, etc.) that doesn't have problems now and then, but if you really love someone and want them to be around forever, you work through the issues and the "effort" will be worth it.

relationships require a lot of effort. sometimes all of your effort.
when relationships start making you feel that they are requiring too much effort, it's time to step back and re-assess them.
maybe this person isn't right for you now. people in your life come and go. enjoy them while they are there and and let them go when it's time to do so, but always leave your door open.

Not if its the right relationship, although you do go through periods where loads of effort is required, but hopefully it is worth it in the end.

First of all i dont know how you can ask this question.
If you truly love the person of course you dont need to make any effort in the relationship, but if you do need to make an effort, dont even bother with that person, move on to someone else. Dont expect the one to turn up on your door step. it shouldnt be an effort to be with someone!!

in a tru relation ship there is no, too much. but there is always too less. you should make the other person in the relationship feel good bout themselves, and not felt like being used. a tru relationship shouldnt be 'counted'
