I think its going on the typical scenes where there's loads of people crammed together at ceremonies etc but yeah it would be really funny if you went up to someone and literally rubbed their shoulders, maybe I'll do that at my boyfriend's screening tonight!

It is not "literally" speaking. It is "figuratively" speaking. It means that you will be in the presence of the rich and famous. You will be walking in thier presence and talking them (as one of them).

its like if u lay down with dogs u'll get fleas, if you hang with rich and succesful people then their associations will rub of on u.
