Do you want the things on your macbook to show up on the tv, or the things from the tv onto your macbook? If you want to just display things from your laptop on the tv then alls you need is an svideo cable I believe. If you want to watch tv or view things on your laptop you can buy USB tv tuners I believe mac.com even has one.

well, there are a lot of factors you need to give us to help. does your macbook have and s-video out adapter? does it have a dvi out? does your tv have an svideo in adapter? does you tv have a dvi or vga in? s-video id say is most likely, and you can get this cable at frys or best buy or radio shack
