Since I use cloth, I left it in the diaper pail waiting for the next load of laundry. At least it won't be going to a landfill to sit for decades waiting to decay.
Unlike some idiots, I didn't leave it in the parking lot at the store, or toss it out the window along the highway, or even leave it on the counter in the rest room while I was shopping. I hate that when people aren't considerate of others and leave them wherever they want.
At least with cloth, they are being recycled and reused and aren't a problem for anyone else to deal with.

The diaper is no longer dirty. I took it to the bathroom, flushed away what I could, then went to the basement, soaked it and then put it in the washing machine. Lots of work, but better for Mother Earth. No disposable diaper cluttering up the planet. It's one way parents can teach their children, the older ones who are out of diapers, how to help our planet, by recycling. Children learn from the examples we present them.
