Because the full meaning can not be simply translated. For example: the 5th verse of Surah Fatiha: إِيَّاك نَعْبُدُ وإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِين That is simply translated as: You we worship, and you we ask for help. But sometimes it says: You we worship, and you [alone] we ask for help. Which is correct? well the Qur'an never says "alone" but it is implied. In arabic grammar, because it says "wa iyaka" it is implied that this means ONLY allah. It is a grammatic thing, im not the best explainer, so I hope someone can explain this better. @Asker, what Muhammad K said is incorrect. Because that verse uses the word خمر does linguistically translate as cover. But it is a specific cover. It is meant for a head cover, that is how the word is to be used. Usually people that don't know Arabic, try to explain using the Qur'an when they themselves do not understand what the Qur'an is saying.
