Your parents house doesn't feel like home because home is made with people you love and the people you love aren't all there anymore.

No my house does not feel like home to me. Home is where you feel comfortable and relaxed at, and I just don't feel that comfort, but maybe it is because I'm around people I don't want to be around but must for now. But when I do get my own apartment I'm sure that I will feel more relaxed and that will feel like my home.

It is in your hands to make a house into home.
Instead of closing your self inside home, go out and enjoy witnessing beautiful nature. Go out on a trip.

My apartment feels like home but my family's house just feels like the house I once grew up in. It's werid but I think that when you start your own life it just happens that way.

I am glad to hear your place feels like home and it should. Mine feels like home, because I can decorate it any way I want it. Its a place where I am comfortable in and I feel safe, because my doggies are watching over me, besides my hubby.

of course it does.
the reason why your parent's home does not have that homey feeling is with all family members are not living in there anymore.
you associate your family's home to when you were younger and happy times there. and life changes.

This place sucks, so no. My last apartment felt like home. I think it is when you feel happy there, and you like to go there. This place is so small I hate it, so it does not feel at all like "home"

My apartment feels only like a dwelling, nothing more. Not much life here.
