Get a board and a jigsaw a pencil and a template of number seven using the pencil and template draw a number seven on the wooden board. cut it out take it to a street corner hold it up and offer a reward of 1, 000, 000 dollars to the first person who can who will change your no. seven into an even number.

I believe that, mathmatically (througha LONG series of number-crunching) you can probably to it.
However, I'd just add 1 to 7 to make 8. 8 is an even number.
[EDIT] Oh, man. Now that I read the others answers, it makes SO much sense now!

I have two solutions to that.
1. Add one to become eight. Even number right!
2. Remove the "S" the result is also EVEN
