It will be tough with the pitching, but they will not only make the playoffs, they will win the world series! They do have the best team in baseball (not by record, by players). Go Sox!

It all depends on how well their pitching can hold up. With an inconsistent Josh Beckett and Curt Schilling not pitching as well as the first half of the season, their is no guarantee of wins. The back of the pitching rotation (jon lester, Tim wakefield and David Wells) aren't consistent. If their pitchers can turn it around then their is a high chance they will make it. Their offense is fine as their lineup keeps producing with Ortiz and Manny. My say: Red Sox get wild card
